Facebook had 1.59 billion monthly active users (MAUs) and 1.04 billion daily active users (DAUs) at the end of Q4 2015. This resulted in a DAU-to-MAU ratio of 65.2%. The DAU-to-MAU ratio is one of the measures of Facebook users engagement. It has been consistently increasing over the years.

Facebook had 1.44 billion mobile monthly active users (Mobile MAUs) and 934 million mobile daily active users (Mobile DAUs) at the end of Q4 2015. This resulted in a Mobile DAU to Mobile MAU ratio of 64.8%.

Of the 1.44 billion mobile MAUs, 823 million were Mobile Only MAUs. These users accessed Facebook through their mobile devices only. They did not use desktop to access Facebook. The share of mobile only users has been consistently rising over the years. In Q4’15, the share of mobile only users increased to 51.7%. This means that over half of Facebook 1.59 billion monthly active users are accessing Facebook through their mobile devices only.
